Fiat Ducato, Citroën Relay and Peugeot Boxer Pioneer SPH-DA77DAB Double DIN Motorhome Stereo Upgrade Package

This complete stereo upgrade package is designed to install the Pioneer SPH-DA77DAB into select Fiat Ducato X290 2014-2021, Citroën Relay 2014-2021 and Peugeot Boxer X290 2014-2024 van and motorhome models fitted with the original Fiat 250 VP1 radio system. The Pioneer SPH-DA77DAB is a 6.8 inch Double DIN touchscreen stereo with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless and wired Android Auto, built-in DAB/DAB+ radio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a short chassis design, making it a strong upgrade for drivers who want modern smartphone connectivity and a cleaner dashboard install.

The package includes the larger-style connector steering wheel control interface for Fiat-based vehicles from 2014 onwards. This interface retains the original steering wheel control functions when fitting the new aftermarket stereo and is supplied with a universal patch lead for use with the Pioneer unit. It is designed for vehicles with the larger-style connector behind the radio and helps maintain a more integrated factory-style user experience after the upgrade.

For the dashboard installation, the package includes the gloss black Double DIN fascia designed for Fiat Ducato, Citroën Relay and Peugeot Boxer 2014 onwards facelift vehicles. The fascia is shaped to suit the dashboard properly for a neater motorhome stereo upgrade and gives the finished installation a more professional look. Some additional plastic trimming may be required during installation to allow the Double DIN unit to fit correctly.

To complete radio reception and connectivity, the package includes the Fakra to DIN aerial adapter with 12V phantom power and bullet connection, along with the interior windscreen glass mount active DAB antenna. The Fakra to DIN adapter converts the original vehicle aerial connection to a standard aftermarket DIN connection and powers the amplifier in the original antenna through a phantom power feed, while the active DAB antenna provides the required digital radio signal for the Pioneer SPH-DA77DAB.

Vehicle Compatiblity

This stereo pacakge is compatible with select Fiat Ducato X290 2014-2021, Citroën Relay 2014-2021 and Peugeot Boxer X290 2014-2024 van and motorhome models with the factory fitted Fiat 250 VP1 radio system.

During installation, the metal fascia clips have been known to fall down the back of the vehicles dashboard. If this happens additional clips can be purchase separately (Part number 80-026)

This stereo upgrade package contains:

Fakra to DIN aerial adapter with Phantom Power (21-123K)

This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector.

The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.

The phantom power feed terminates in a male bullet connector to make the phantom power lead easier to connect to ISO cables and steering wheel control interfaces with a female bullet connection for the electric antenna turn on

CANbus steering wheel control interface (Larger style Connector) (39-FIA-03)

CANbus steering wheel control interface for Fiat/ Alfa Romeo (2014 Onwards) vehicles with the larger-style connector behind the radio.

This interface uses a larger style connection behind the original radio to allow the use of the original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. It also provides CANbus outputs as well as Ignition, speed pulse, reverse, handbrake and illumination signals.

This model is universal and can be used with Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Sony or  Zenec Head-units.

It is supplied complete with instructions and a universal patch lead to connect to the steering control input of the above head unit brands

PLEASE NOTE: This interface is only suitable for Fiat/ Alfa Romeo (2014 Onwards) vehicles with the larger-style connector behind the radio

Fiat Ducato (2014 Onwards) Double Din fascia with side fix brackets GLOSS BLACK (50-938)

Double DIN fascia kit for 2014 onwards facelifted vehicles.

This kit comes with side fixing brackets so no cage kit is required.

For single DIN installation an additional pocket will be required.

There may be some additional plastic that requires cutting to allow the installation of a double-din unit.
