This reverse view camera is designed for Ford Transit Custom 2018 onwards models fitted with the factory tailgate door. It replaces the original tailgate handle housing and provides a discreet factory-look camera solution for safer reversing and manoeuvring, without the need to add a separate external camera unit. This style of camera secures into the place of the original tailgate handle housing while maintaining the vehicle’s original appearance.
A tailgate, or single-piece lift-up rear door, is available as an option across most Ford Transit Custom models, including Leader, Trend, Limited and Sport trims. That makes this camera a strong choice for Transit Custom owners upgrading to an aftermarket stereo or screen who want a neater OEM-style reversing camera installation matched to the tailgate handle design. The camera includes optional fixed parking guidelines which can be enabled or disabled.
The product includes 12V power, colour CMOS NTSC image, and power and video extension cables. It should not be powered from the reversing lights, and additional adapters or interfaces will be required to connect the camera to an original factory-fitted screen or system. Before ordering, check that the image and dimensions of the camera match the existing tailgate handle on the vehicle.

Installation Notes
- To disable parking guidelines, join the 2 Green Wires on the camera lead
- Additional adapters/ interfaces will be required to connect to an original factory fitted system/ screen.
- Do not power the camera from the reversing lights
