Mitsubishi Aftermarket Camera Add-On Harness Adapter (8 Pin)

This vehicle-specific harness adapter is designed for selected Mitsubishi vehicles and is intended for adding an aftermarket camera to the original factory screen. It is a practical solution for installers who want to integrate a new camera into the factory display system while keeping the installation neat and vehicle-specific.

Using the original 8 pin camera connection, this adapter helps simplify aftermarket camera integration in compatible Mitsubishi models. PLEASE NOTE: This product should only be used for adding an aftermarket camera to the factory system. When retaining the original reverse camera with an aftermarket head unit, please use part number 27-248-R, which is specifically designed for this.

To allow an aftermarket camera to be added to the OEM screen:

• Connect the (3) Black wires, and the aftermarket cameras ground wire, to chassis ground.
• Connect the Yellow wire to battery power.
• Connect the power wire of the aftermarket camera to accessory power.
• Connect the female Yellow RCA jack to the aftermarket camera.
• Tape off and disregard the following (2) wires, they will not be used in this application: Green/Purple, Red.

Please Note: If the Green/Purple wire is not populated on the factory side, a reverse wire will need to be sourced from the vehicle
