Steering wheel control interface for selected Nissan vehicles with the 20 pin Nissan connector and OEM-specific radio applications. This steering wheel control interface is designed for selected Nissan vehicles fitted with the 20 pin Nissan connector used on OEM-specific radio applications. The adapter converts the original Nissan-style connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors, removing the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable and helping create a simpler, cleaner installation when fitting an aftermarket head unit.
The steering wheel control interface is built directly into the adapter cable for a true plug and play installation. It allows the original steering wheel audio control buttons to continue working with the new aftermarket radio, helping retain safer and more convenient control of audio functions while driving.
This interface also includes an additional 32 pin connector for use on vehicles with a separate factory Bluetooth module. When the bypass loop is added, it allows the analogue feed for the phone buttons to be retained correctly with the new head unit and steering wheel control adapter.
Not all models use a separate Bluetooth module, as Bluetooth may be built into the original factory head unit. In those cases, the bypass loop is not required. If phone button functionality is already retained with the new head unit installation, the bypass loop is not required.
