This complete Double DIN fitting kit is designed to allow the installation of an aftermarket Double DIN car stereo into selected Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic and Nissan NV300 2017 onwards vehicle models with standard factory-fitted radios. It provides a clean, vehicle-specific solution for upgrading to a modern aftermarket head unit while retaining key original functions.
A key part of this kit is the steering wheel control interface with power extension lead, designed specifically for 2017 onwards standard-radio vehicles. It allows connection to an ignition-switched supply, which is important on later vehicles where an ignition-switched 12V feed may be absent from the original radio plug. Based on prior technical experience, the most suitable ignition feed point is the cigarette lighter supply, as it provides a consistent switched 12V source. This makes the kit especially useful for professional installers and experienced DIY users who want reliable steering wheel control retention and correct interface operation.
The kit also includes the fascia panel, universal patch lead, AM/FM antenna adapter with 12V phantom power, and Fakra DAB to SMB antenna adapter to support a full aftermarket stereo installation. Important Notes:
- Some vehicles with Stop‑Start feature will require an interface to be installed inline with the power ISO plug of the new stereo. The interface allows the unit to stay powered when the vehicle engine shuts down and restarts. If you are experiencing this with your new installation, you will need a 10‑603 adapter in addition to the fitting kit.
This kit is only compatible with vehicles originally equipped with the standard radio system; factory navigation head units require a separate navigation-specific kit.

Fakra male to SMB female DAB adapter
Use this adapter to adapt a fakra DAB connector in a car to a DAB SMB connector on an after market DAB radio.
Fakra to DIN aerial adapter cable with 12v phantom power
This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.

The Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic, and Nissan NV300 steering wheel control interface allows seamless retention of factory steering wheel audio controls when upgrading to an aftermarket head unit. Compatible with 2017 onwards models and standard factory radios, this unit ensures OEM-like functionality after installation.
This interface is based on the proven 29-706 module but has been professionally modified with a power extension. On newer vehicles, an ignition-switched 12V feed is not always available in the factory radio harness. Universal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 29- series steering wheel control interfaces. Use for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, Zenec, Philips, Dynavin and non branded Chinese head units.
Replacement car audio fascia (Matt Black)
Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version. This kit uses side fixing brackets to mount the new radio for a flush fit, so no cage is required. For single DIN fitting a universal pocket will need to be acquired.
