This Pioneer 9-inch perfect fit stereo package is designed specifically for Volkswagen T6 models from 2015 to 2019 equipped with factory steering wheel audio controls. The included CAN-Bus steering wheel control interface allows the original steering wheel buttons to continue functioning with the new Pioneer stereo, maintaining convenient control of volume, track selection and phone functions.
This kit comes with the Pioneer PF97, delivering wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free calling and music streaming in a large, responsive 9” touchscreen display, providing a major upgrade over the original factory radio system. The included aerial adapter ensures proper AM/FM radio reception, while the 9-inch fascia adapter panel allows the stereo to integrate neatly into the dashboard for a clean OEM-style finish.
This fitting kit is designed specifically for Volkswagen T6 models where only steering wheel audio control retention is required.
Vehicles with additional retained vehicle features such as climate control display integration or ParkPilot parking sensor display systems will require a different fitting kit.
This head unit fitting kit includes the following:
Double Fakra to DIN aerial adapter (Phantom Power) with Bullet connector
Double Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12v phantom power from a male bullet connection. This antenna adapter cable adapts from the original Double Fakra connector in the vehicle to a standard aftermarket radio DIN antenna connection for the fitting of a stereo upgrade.
Radio replacement steering wheel adapter interface
The CANbus interface and radio adapter cable is plug and play, it is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source, mute and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio. The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs signals to the new stereo.

9” Fascia Adapter Panel
Designed specifically for the Transporter T6 (2015-2019), this fascia is engineered for a simple, seamless installation of the Pioneer 9” stereo. Built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list, it adapts the dashboard aperture after removing the factory stereo to accept a universally mounted 4-screw head unit. This ensures compatibility with most aftermarket stereos while retaining the original OEM-style appearance of the dashboard.

This radio is designed exclusively for use with 9" custom frame fascia panels. It mounts securely using a 4-screw system at the rear of the fascia panel. This unit cannot be installed as a standard 1-DIN or 2-DIN stereo and is not compatible with traditional 1 or 2-DIN fitting kits.
