VW Transporter T6 Pioneer SPH-EVO98DAB Stereo Kit (Carplay/ Android/ DAB/ Park Pilot Retention)

This complete stereo upgrade package is designed to install the Pioneer SPH-EVO98DAB-1D into select Volkswagen Transporter T6 2015-2019 models fitted with the original Composition Colour, Composition Media or Discover Media system. The Pioneer unit is a modular 9 inch floating screen multimedia receiver with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Bluetooth and DAB+ digital radio, making it a strong upgrade for drivers who want modern smartphone connectivity and a larger touchscreen format in the T6 dashboard.

The package is built around the VW MIB steering wheel control and info display interface, which is specifically listed for VW Transporter T6 2015-2019 with original MIB/PQ radio systems. This interface retains the factory steering wheel buttons, optical parking sensor display, and climate control visualisation when fitting an aftermarket head unit. It is designed to display vehicle information on aftermarket stereos with a rear camera input, helping preserve important OEM functions that are often lost during a radio replacement.

To retain the original radio signals, the package includes both antenna adapters needed for factory systems. The double Fakra to DIN aerial adapter with 12V phantom power retains the original AM/FM antenna by powering the amplifier built into the factory antenna, while the male Fakra to female SMB adapter retains the original DAB antenna for use with the Pioneer DAB input. The package also includes the VW USB retention cable to keep the factory USB port active, a universal patch lead for the steering wheel control interface, and the single/double DIN fascia adapter with removable pocket for a clean dashboard finish around the floating Pioneer display.
