This Audi adapter harness is for cars with quadlock connectors at the rear of the original head unit and with fully amplified audio systems, normally Bose branded. The adapter harness also has a built in CANbus ignition interface for plug and play installation.
The quadlock adapter has 4x phono pre-out connectors to integrate with the original amplifier in the car. This will allow audio from the new radio to work with all the speakers and original sub woofer.
The built in CANbus interface will generate an ignition power supply to the new radio. This makes installation plug and play.
A double Fakra to DIN antenna adapter is also included and is wired into the adapter harness.
