Steering wheel control interface (29-UC-050-MB1)
The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.
The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation
This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume and track skip buttons.
The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, reverse gear, handbrake and speed pulse outputs.
This interface is supplied with a universal patch lead. This links the steering control interface to the steering wheel control input on the back of the new stereo.
This is an alternative to 39-MB-A20NTG1
PLEASE NOTE: This interface is only suitable for cars with original basic NTG1 radios. Cars with the upgraded COMAND APS NTG1 radio will require a different interface.
The motorized ashtray on W211 cars will no longer work when you change the original radio
Cars with original harman/kardon amplified audio systems will require an additional interface to retain the audio with the original amplifier.
UNICAN patch lead set (29-UCCAB-SET)
Patch cable set to connect a UNICAN interface between an after market head unit and the steering wheel controls. Can be used with Alpine, Kenwood, JVC (single wire), Pioneer, Sony and Chinese/Resistive Programmable head units with either two wires or a 3.5mm jack.
