Range Rover Sport/Discovery 3 car stereo fitting kit (LOGIC 7 with screen retention)

Complete fitting kit to change the original radio for a Double DIN aftermarket unit and also retain the use of the original nav/vehicle info display screen in a Range Rover Sport or Discovery 3 with original Harman/Kardon LOGIC 7 amplified audio systems.

This complete head unit fitting kit includes:

Amplifier bypass cable (20-314)

Amplifier bypass cable for Range Rover sport and Discovery 3 cars with original Harman/Kardon LOGIC 7 premium sound system amplifiers under the driver's seat. Allows you to connect a new aftermarket radio directly to the car's speakers after bypassing the original amplifier.

This bypass lead will retain the front door speakers, the rear door speakers and the rear roof speakers. The centre speaker will be lost and a new amplifier will need to be added to retain the woofers in the tailgate.

Antenna adapter (21-123)

This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector.

The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.

Steering control interface (29-712)

Steering wheel control interface for Range Rover Sport cars 2005-2009 that will also allow the original head unit to remain connected and relocated so the original display (navigation) above the radio will continue to work.

This interface will retain the use of the steering wheel audio controls.

Fibre optic extension cable (Part of 29-712)

1 Metre (100cm) Fibre optic extension and head unit relocation cable to keep the original head unit connected to the car to retain the use of the navigation and vehicle touch screen.

Patch lead (29-025)

Universal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 29- series steering wheel control interfaces. This cable plugs into the ICT control box and connects to the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the new head-unit.

This item has loose wires and leads so it can be configured to suit the brand of radio being fitted. Use for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, Zenec, Philips, Dynavin and non branded Chinese head units.

Fascia with cage (50-853)

Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version

This fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the cars dashboard by matching the shape, style, size and colour of the original OEM factory fitted radio.

This fascia is supplied with a fitting cage so no additional fitting cage is required. The fascia adapter will give a flush mount and professional appearance to the installation.

PLEASE NOTE:

This fitting kit will retain the use of the original navigation and vehicle settings screen, however, the navigation audio will be lost. An additional NAVAMP interface (10-651) will be required to retain the navigation audio.

To retain/ keep the original sub-woofer a new amplifier will be required, please use our dedicated Land Rover amplifier fitting kit (AK-LR-01)
