Interface to retain the audio steering wheel controls (including phone button) in a Volkswagen car and also retain parking sensor and climate control display which is normally displayed on the CDR510 radio. The PDC and climate info is shown on the cars central display between the clocks, PLEASE NOTE: DOES NOT RETAIN ANY MULTIFUNCTION DISPLAY INFORMATION ON THE NEW RADIO

For use on Volkswagen, Seat and Skoda cars that have the quadlock connector at the back of the radio.

(FK-699-VW-DMX02, FK-699-VW-ILX) TO ACHIEVE THIS
Provides CANbus ignition to the new radio and CANbus speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs. The interface also provides a CAN amplifier turn on signal for cars fitted with the original Dynaudio sound system. (The Dynaudio system can be identified by the branding on the speaker grilles). The interface also turns on the Sound System amplifiers in Skoda cars.
This interface retains the original parking sensor display (Parking Distance Control - PDC) and climate control information that is shown on the original radio. This information is transferred to the white display on the instrument cluster.
This interface is for vehicles that have the WHITE display, it will not work with the red display that some vehicles have.
